Celina Lozano
Owner of WEBBY Dance Company®- Greater San Antonio
Celina began dancing and performing at a young age. Growing up, she was either involved in dance, cheerleading or performing in musical theater productions. Celina holds a BBM with a Concentration in Small Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her desire and interest in business as well as dance lead her to establish her company, Twirl and Tap in 2004 while attaining her degree. She ran Twirl and Tap – a preschool mobile dance company for 13 years in San Antonio, TX. In August of 2017, she made the decision to become a part of something bigger and joined the WEBBY Dance Company family. WEBBY is the perfect program that has given Celina the opportunity to provide a positive place for children to express themselves. She gets to witness her students become more confident through performing. She also believes that WEBBY provides the perfect foundation for her students to establish an active lifestyle filled with music and movement.
For over ten years, Celina was also heavily involved in the fitness world. She spent many years coaching Crossfit as well as a Pure Barre instructor. When Celina is away from teaching and running daily operations, she spends time with her husband, Lorenzo. They enjoy being active, hiking, traveling as well as watching Texas Longhorn sports and trying out new recipes. Celina also devotes her extra time as a volunteer for Operation Underground Railroad. She is a big advocate in the fight against human trafficking and a child’s rights activist. It is unmistakable that Celina is passionate about teaching, living a healthy lifestyle and helping others.
